Introducing In Practice Mentorship Cohort

In Practice is a 6-week mentorship series created especially for emerging therapists, whether you’re newly licensed or working towards it. This is a supportive space where you can build practical skills, grow your confidence, and connect with a community of peers who understand the ups and downs of starting or growing your private practice.

The August 2025 cohort just began this week! If you’re interested but missed the start, you can sign up for the waitlist to be notified about the next group.

Whether you’re new to this work or looking to integrate these concepts more fully into your practice and life, In Practice offers a supportive container to explore, reflect, and grow alongside peers and with my guidance.

In my recent post, we explored the basics of Polyvagal Theory, how your autonomic nervous system (ANS) shapes your experience of safety, threat, and connection. This framework helps us see that what feels like “just emotions” or “just stress” is actually your body’s way of trying to protect you.

Today, The Integration is about moving beyond understanding to deeper reflection and practice. How do you tune into your nervous system in daily life? How do you build trust with yourself when you notice activation or shutdown? How can you bring curiosity and kindness to those moments?

These questions invite you to slow down and listen more closely to your body and mind:
